    Love is a contradiction. It makes you happy, it makes you sad. It makes you strong, it makes you weak. It gets you up in the morning and can render you unable to face the day. It is wonderful and terrible. It is Easy, and so very very hard. It is Terrifying and terrific. It's our reason for living and the reason we die. It is the emotional creator and destroyer.

    We love strangers who become friends who become more. We love our Children without asking, our parents without knowing, our siblings.. with a grain of salt.

    Love is the only emotion you can never truly control. We all hunger for it, need it and need to bestow it on people. Undeserving people, wonderful people, the perfect people, friends, strangers, the girl with white hair you knew in grade 3. We don't just love People, we love animals and food, our cars and hobbies, Rock stars and crazy scottish plainfaced songbirds.

    We will never understand love, yet we walk with it every day.

    So I'm not going to the Calgary Stampede this year, first time in 3 years I'll miss it. Instead I'm off to Nova Scotia to sell leather at a Scout thing for a week..

    So who's.. er What's to do in Nova Scotia in my off hours?

    YaY! I passed my test! I got my Restricted Permit!

    that means I get my disintigration ray! or does that, and all doomsday devices actually, fall into Prohibited firearms?

    All moved in. Now it's gonna be weeks of unpacking boxes of, well books mainly.

    I have so many books. And need more shelves.

    Also Bob Asprin died on the 22nd. Reading a Prattchett novel by all acounts.

    April 29 2008: Albert Hofmann passed away at his home at 9am on Tuesday April 29, 2008 of a heart attack at the age of 102. He will be missed.

    Family Day
     Yay for Family Day!

    I'm looking forward to tommorrow, a day to spend with my family.

    Which will be just like today really. heh.

    but it's a holiday now.

    now to work on March. Do I hear St. Paddy's day? so we can remember the days that the Christians slaughtered anyone who wouldn't convert in Ireland. And we can commemorate it by getting pissed and beating up either the English or other Irish...

     hah bet you all thought I'd never finish a story eh? well I have.. more or less.

    though I leave out the rescue, the crash again on another island even less deserted that this one, with people on it. A magic Island that keeps people on it, makes things from their dreams etc.
